The main difference lies in the type of solutions used for each treatment. Traditional lash lifts use TGA-based solutions, while Korean lash lifts use cysteamine-based solutions.

Cysteamine-based formulas allow the entire lash to be processed from root to tip, giving the stylist full control of the lashes. Because the whole lash is treated, the result can be more precise, lifted, and customizable compared to traditional lash lift methods.

This technique also makes it possible to create a cleaner lash separation and a more defined finish, while maintaining flexibility in the styling of the lashes.
